Lee Smithson Burd, Ph.D.

Lee is a vice president of CMA Global, an organizational development firm with offices in St. Louis, Kansas City, and Denver.  Lee draws on her expertise in personality and behavior to partner with executives to optimize their leadership and build effective teams and organizations.  Often leveraging psychological assessment, Lee provides leaders with key insights to select the right candidates for roles, develop current and future leaders, and align teams.  She works across various industries, including construction, manufacturing, banking, and healthcare.

Lee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College, where she graduated Cum Laude and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University. She was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at The Menninger Clinic.   She is married and a recent empty-nester.  She also co-founded Madam President Camp, which teaches girls ages 10-13 about leadership and civic engagement.
