Positive Psychology
Today’s workplace is fast-paced, highly competitive, and technology driven, all of which increase the amount of stress that a worker experiences on a regular, day-to-day basis. What if the resources needed to effectively combat stress are already possessed by individuals and they simply need to be tapped into and developed? Research shows that positive psychology characteristics (e.g., resilience) can be developed and that they can be used to combat stress and improve daily functioning.
