Mary Zahner, Ph.D.
“When I assess someone for development or selection I like to see the person as a unique individual and to consider the context of the organization and the job. Every one is special and deserves their own story.”
Mary has been a licensed psychologist in Missouri for over 27 years, and she loves learning what makes people tick. By helping put people at ease, she is able to truly evaluate prospective candidates during selection assessments, considering what is important for the organization as well as what is needed for the individual.
She holds undergraduate degrees in both Psychology and History, along with a Master’s and Doctorate in Psychology from St. Louis University, where she developed a strong interest in the use of tests and measures within the business world.
A lifelong learner, she has served as a member of the advisory board for St. Louis University’s “Women in Leadership” program and has taught graduate courses in the university’s School of Business Administration. In addition to being a past president of Gateway Industrial Organizational Psychologists, she is also a contributing author of “Team Leader Training,” published by McGraw Hill (1999).
An avid quilter, her craftsmanship has been seen at international shows.
