Kaitlyn Erb, Ph.D.

“I most love the relationships we get to have with our clients—we get to know who they are, where they’ve been, where they’re going. It’s a humbling privilege to help an organization continue its success story.”

As a consultant, Kaitlyn aims to serve as a trusted thought partner for each client, blending her expertise with an understanding of what makes each client unique. Her work at CMA focuses on organizational development, leadership development, facilitating meaningful communication, and conducting statistical data analyses. She strives to bring a new perspective to clients’ obstacles and opportunities, often picking up on the “little things” that make big contributions to culture and communication.

Kaitlyn has developed a strong passion for family-owned businesses and entrepreneurship. As part of the fourth generation of her own family’s business and a former member of an angel-investing fund, she has a deep appreciation for the distinctive type of commitment these leaders make to their organizations. Kaitlyn uses her knowledge to help leaders position their businesses for success, especially during periods of growth or change—when norms, culture, and the way they do business are being established for years to come.

Kaitlyn completed her doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Saint Louis University, where she earned her Master’s degree in the same. She has spent most of her graduate career conducting research related to psychologically healthy workplace practices, with additional research focusing on personality and ethical behavior. Kaitlyn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Missouri.

In her spare time, Kaitlyn is often traveling to catch up with family and friends. A native St. Louisan, she believes life is best when it involves spending time relaxing on any dog-friendly patio in STL.
