Kaitlyn Erb, Ph.D.
“I love getting to know our clients—who they are, where they’ve been, and where they’re going. It’s a privilege to help an organization continue its success story.”
As a consultant, Kaitlyn aims to serve as a thought partner for each client, blending her expertise with an understanding of what makes each client unique. Her work at CMA focuses on organizational development, leadership development, facilitating meaningful communication, and conducting statistical data analyses. She strives to bring a new perspective to clients’ obstacles and opportunities, often picking up on the “little things” that make big contributions to culture and communication.
Kaitlyn has developed a strong passion for family-owned businesses. As part of the fourth generation of her own family’s business, she has a deep appreciation for the distinctive type of commitment family leaders make to their organizations. Kaitlyn uses her knowledge to help leaders position their businesses for success, especially during periods of growth or change—when legacy, norms, culture, and the ways they do business are being established for years to come.
Kaitlyn is a licensed psychologist in the state of Missouri. She completed her Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology at Saint Louis University, where she earned her master’s degree in the same. Her dissertation examined issues of morality and unethical behavior in the workplace. She spent most of her graduate career conducting research on psychologically healthy workplace practices (e.g., work-life balance, engagement, stress). Kaitlyn earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Missouri.
A native St. Louisan, Kaitlyn believes life is best when it involves spending time relaxing on any dog-friendly patio in STL. She enjoys traveling, cooking (when there’s no deadline for dinner), and watching her daughters (2 years old and newborn) discover new skills.
