Kaitlyn Erb, Ph.D.

Kaitlyn helps leaders navigate transition, growth, and complex people dynamics with clarity, care, and practical direction. Her work spans leadership coaching, succession planning, and advising organizations through periods of change, particularly within family enterprises.

Clients value her ability to create calm in complex situations and to help people move forward with clarity and confidence. Her approach is thoughtful, practical, and warm. She takes time to understand what matters most to her clients. She is known for asking meaningful questions, building trust quickly, and helping clients make decisions that align with their goals and values.

Kaitlyn works closely with family-owned businesses, where personal relationships, legacy, and business decisions are deeply intertwined. As a fourth-generation owner of her own family’s business, she brings lived experience to her work and understands the emotional and relational challenges her client families face. Clients across generations say she “gets it” when it comes to navigating the generational transition process.

Her work blends scientific rigor with genuine human connection. Kaitlyn earned her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Saint Louis University and is a licensed psychologist in Missouri. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri, where she still happily returns for football weekends and a dose of nostalgia.

Outside of work, Kaitlyn’s world centers on her own family. Her weekends are spent in “mom mode” with her two young daughters, being “Aunt Kerbie” to many littles, traveling to catch up with friends, and cooking (but only when there’s no deadline for dinner!).

If you are navigating change and want a thought partner who understands both business complexity and the human side of leadership, Kaitlyn welcomes the conversation.
