Maddie Veres, M.S.

Maddie is a Ph.D. student in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology program at Saint Louis University and is originally from Milwaukee, WI. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago in 2021, graduating summa cum laude. During her undergraduate years, she was also a student-athlete and a member of the Jesuit honor society Alpha Sigma Nu.

Since beginning her doctoral studies in 2022, Maddie has engaged in both academic research and applied projects, focusing on topics including employee experience, well-being, strategic planning, leadership, and mentoring. She earned her M.S. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology in 2024. Her master’s thesis employed a qualitative approach to explore how flexible work arrangements are used by individuals with eldercare responsibilities, with an emphasis on flexibility stigma.

Outside of her research and applied work, Maddie enjoys attending fitness classes, going to live music events, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends.
