Kesea Nutter, M.S.

Kesea is a Ph.D. student in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Colorado State University. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Xavier University and her M.S. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Northern Kentucky University.

During her graduate studies, she has been involved in projects investigating diversity climate, applicant attraction, and turnover. Her thesis investigated the impact of identity safety cues on applicant attraction. She is passionate about how organizations can utilize talent management practices (e.g., selection, training, and performance appraisals) to leverage the unique differences in employees, leading to higher performance, creativity, and innovation. Recent advancements in technology have piqued her interest in how organizations and researchers can utilize technology such as virtual reality in training and machine learning to understand complex interactions.

In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, reading, and traveling around the world when she is not watching a Disney movie or going to a park with her husband and two kids.
